Handled a delicate situation when our pet was old and dying. Very sensitive with our end of life with our dog. Kept things quiet and peaceful for his passing. Had been to two other vets about a allergic dog but they figured it out and we got a therapy that really works.
I took my boy in at the last minute to get his shots. Was very impressed and I will be going back
Took our cat to Glen Dale Animal Hospital Mid Aug 2017 due to his severe weight loss within 2 wks. They diagnosed him with hyperthyroid disease and prescribed pills. Advised us to come back in a month. Our cat took a turn for the worst and I took him to another vet to get a 2nd opinion. Our cat had a tumor on his bowel the size of a tennis ball and the new vet sadly shook her head. How did Glen Dale miss this?? If I had known of the cancerous tumor the month before, I would have done the right thing and had our pet put down and stopped his suffering. My pet died on the examining table on his own during the 2nd visit to the new vet. You will never see me set foot at Glen Dale again.
These people shouldn't even consider themselves as caring for animals. My dog has spinal meningitis, which can be fatal if not treated immediately. All I needed was his medicine and they said they couldn't fill it even after talking to my vet. They said they would have to see him first, which was fine with me, but they wanted to wait two days because he didn't have an "appointment." EMERGENCIES don't have appointments! They didn't care at all. Good thing we contacted Ohio Valley Animal Hospital and they spoke with my vet and filled his prescription with no problem. And he'll be on the road to recovery soon.To Hell with this place!
